2018 Legislative Summary Wrap Up
The Women’s Law Center actively engages in advocacy work with the General Assembly to increase justice and fairness for Maryland women and families. Each year, we identify and track legislation that impacts women. We provide oral and written testimony to educate legislators about our position. Staff and volunteers participate in coalitions with other advocacy groups that share common interests and priorities. We send legislative email alerts to inform members and supporters about proposed legislation and encourage them to contact their legislators.
